Why do employers always have to ruin a good thing?
I was positive about being flexible with my job because I knew they would be shut down if they did not have a qualified group leader in the 3 year old classroom. I've always liked my boss and I felt bad that she continued to hire people that just wouldn't give the room a chance.
To be honest, it's one of the easiest classrooms in the building (next to maybe the infant room).
But they just continue to push my buttons. My assistant has been out because her little boy is sick and I get left with continuously being pushed (asked) to stay late to cover for their inability to staff.
I am letting my boss know tomorrow that my last day will be December 14th.
Honestly, if I didn't feel like I was completely screwing my assistant with the holiday program- I would just leave next week. I'm tired of them always using me as a fall back and really seeing/hearing no appreciation.
I guess that's just life and the working world.

Good for you. Don't let them push you around.
